I am having a really hard time with this new search and I could not find anything about the bolts. They have 12 point nut heads. Where is a good place yo buy sockets to get them off.. Northern Tool?

Also does anyone know the size?

Yes.....I used 3/8 12pt on mine.

The bolts are stainless steel and they go into aluminum. Follow the Mercury torque specs or you WILL either strip the holes or break them off......DO NOT USE NEVER SEIZE on them!! Mercury 2-4-C Teflon Marine grease works great.....

Thanks guys. I went to sears and found right socket. What was really wierd is that the bolts were not even tight. I just used the socket on the end of an extension and they came off.
