Howdy all,
I was fooling around with the trim cyls in preparation of installing them and noticed that one of was sort of "spring loaded" to retract while the other one was not.
After moving it through the range of operation a few times the "spring loading" stopped.
I took a look at the service manual and noticed that there is a "shock" piston and spring in there. The service manual discusses a procedure for testing. It appears that one of the pistons is sticking.
Should I waste my time with testing or since one of did it and the other one didn't or should I just get repair kits and rebuild both of them? The drive has 122 hrs on it and it's a 1997 model.
Thanks,
Rick
