I bought a brand new tritoon 23ft boat with a 4stroke 150hp motor a month ago. The first three times we took it out it cruised comfortably at 25-27pm. We took it out this weekend and it wouldn't go past 19mpg and at full throttle wouldn't go passed 4500 RPM's. Full throttle pulling an inter tube it wouldn't go passed 19, and same even when we weren't pulling anyone. It The boat just wouldn't kick passed 4500. All stock parts, not damage done. Does anyone have any idea? It was only 3 light cruising trips with a few tubers pulled but nothing crazy. Not a weight issue because we had a lighter load this weekend than we have had on the first three trips. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not trying to bypass your question, but being only a month old, what about the dealer?

The boat has not changed, and so long as the motor has not been trimmed incorrectly, its a motor problem and the dealer needs to look at it

Did you follow the break in procedure?
1. For the first two hours of operation, run the engine at varied
throttle settings up to 4500 RPM or at three‑quarter throttle,
and at full throttle for approximately one minute every ten
minutes.
2. For the next eight hours of operation, avoid continuous
operation at full throttle for more than five minutes at a time.

Thank you for the responses. Yes I tried to follow the beak in process and was just trying to make sure (as I am a new boat owner) that it wasn't something I had tweaked wrong even though I know there is much to tweak with a stock motor like mine. Thank you for taking the time to respond and I plan on contacting the dealer tomorrow. Thanks again
