I just put new disk brakes on my trailer and have a question about my coupler. I used a bar to push it in the get the fluid going but the coupler does not spring back. I was wondering if the coupler should stay in until you pull it back out or if it should spring back?<br />Thanks

Re: Brake Coupler

It will not spring out. You should be able to use a screwdriver to pump the master cylinder to energize and bleed the brakes. Also, if you changed from drum to disc brakes, I hope you modified the brake unit or replaced with a unit designed for disc brakes.

Agreed, you need to modify or replace the coupler to convert from drum to disk brakes.
