I've been a long time looker, and finally decided to join up in hopes that you guys could help me through my boat's "fix up"

Long of the short, I have an older Fabuglass Tri-Hull that I'm working on. Right now I'm in the process of replacing my transom as it was toast.

So, of course, step one was to remove all the hardware, one of which was this bracket....

I posted it on an Iowa fishing site I'm on, and the two agreed upon options were that it was for a ladder, or more likely a kicker motor mount. Either way we all agreed that I only had half of what ever it was.

I do have a kicker motor that I would like t be able to use on this boat, as one of the local lakes has a HP restriction. So I'll keep it short by saying I'm odd/set in my way, and that I'd prefer to find and use the other half to this mount over going and buying a new one. Problem is all of m searching as yielded nothing, and ever after removing all the paint once it was off, I can't find any type of identifying mark on it.

So can ANYBODY help me???? With a name, part number, an "I have one" or anything???

That's going to be tough to find. I'd ditch it and get a new bracket.

looks like a drop in kicker mount. numbers are probably on the other side . and chances are the manufacturer is long gone. I do like the design. throw it on and pull the cord, and off to the fishen hole!

Thanks for the tip, I'll go start a thread there as well.

The simplicity of taking it on and off is part of why I'd like to keep it. And as for the numbers being on the other side, I have it off right now (in the process of replacing the transom) and nothing on either side. I even took it in to work and sandblasted it hoping the paint was hiding some identifying mark, but there isn't one.
