On one side of my old trailer, the two thick metal brackets have broken off. Does anyone know where I can get brackets that can be bent to shape it to the old ones? The metal doesn't have to be thick enought to support weight, I can get into the boat ont he other side using the good fender, I just need to have the fender supported. Thanks for any help!

I used heavy 8" L brackets from a hardware store. They came galvanized and are pretty heavy duty. They mounted on the frame and supported the fender.

Were you able to bend them or are they a straight, rigid "L" bracket?

Yes when I had to bend them slightly I fastened on end to the trailer and used a pipe over then end to band them a bit.
