Bow railing

On my Sea Ray the bow rails are starting to pit I wanted to know what I can do to get the rust marks off and how to prevent this in the future

Flitz metal polish is about the best stuff out there. Once you've cleaned them up you have to keep after it. There's no permanent solution.

I'll add my 2 cents to the above 2 cents. Give the railing a good coat of Mothers paste wax afterwards. Once pitting starts it will never become new again. Wax all the chrome as often as possible to prevent pitting. If I boated on salt water I would be a basket case, OCDEFTUC, one of many problems I have keeping things clean and looking new. Just the other day I detailed our BBQ and patio boom box.

I agree it's very hard the salt water eats up everything. I constantly washing the boat, cleaning bilge, scrubbing boat. Thanks for the answer!
