Bow Mount Trolling Motor on StarCraft

anyone have bow mount trolling motor on 16ss?

Toying with the idea of a 80# terrova for the front of 1982 16ss, is it possible to do without removing or cutting the stock front rails? Anyone done this?

I ask about the shaft length because my 18 foot Holiday sits up high out of the water.

On my 18 mariner, using a transom mounted motor on the bow had to go with a 60" and i think it was a 45 lb which is plenty for me. You have io and a diff interior from my center console so maybe a 60.

Imo, on that boat, the railing is just for looks as is mine. What do you actually use it for?
