I recently bought a used minn kota bow mount trolling motor and plan to install it soon. I have a 1979 Sea Star open bow and am wondering if anyone has a good idea how to mount the motor to the bow if I don't have access to the bottom side. I would assume there are special bolts/screws that can be used to fasten into fiberglass that are strong and durable but don't want to buy the wrong ones and end up cracking the fiberglass. Any info would be much appreciated.
