I am now the happy owner of a 1990 Lowe 1600V! This is my first boat, waited two years to be able to get it, signed for it today! It is in great shape, clean and well kept, better than I ever expected even from the pictures the dealer posted. Tried to upload picture but got an error said file was too big! Well, it is a lot of boat for the money!

Congrats on the new boat!

Try emailing the pics to yourself. As you are doing so, you can compress the files to different sizes under advanced settings.

Re: Bought the Lowe

you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format. 640x480 max.

HA!!! This is my boat!!! This is the very ad where I first saw her, thank you very much for posting this, I fight and bargain with my computer to do anything due to my poor skills. The boat is even better looking in person!!!

Thanks again, God bless, Mike.

The boat in that picture is from Mississippi
and your profile says you are from Massachussetts

and you're telling us that is your exact boat that you purchased and this is the ad you purchased it from?

Husker, yup. MS is the registry sequence on every Massachusetts boat, I have seen the title and that is it's only state of registry, it's a one owner boat. Until now.

Looks like a nice boat. Good luck with her and Congrats!
It's always exciting to get a new or used boat. Can't wait to float my new Lowe this spring. It's just a modified V Jon (1448MV) boat but spent the winter outfitting her with removable seats, depth finder, rod holders, remote anchor release, trolling motor for propulsion (intended for electric only lakes) and oars for back up!

Re: Bought the Lowe

I think modifying and personalizing a boat to fit one's fishing style will be half the fun of owning a boat. In the fall I will be re-carpeting the interior as this is a little old and worn, and I will also be custom painting the engine cowl. We have some restricted lakes here too, I have an additional Minni 30lb. thrust stern mount TM and a 4th battery to use for those waters, we think it should be enough to get us around all day.
Enjoy your boat as well, it is good to be on the water. I was grateful just to have the canoe my brother from church lent me last season. although I felt badly as it kept my buddy who can't sit in a canoe due to bad knees on shore.
