Bought my first boat!

It's an 18 ft Ranger bass boat. I pick it up Thanksgiving weekend & I want to pull this off without buying a new truck as well. <br /><br />I have a Chevy blazer with a 4.3 liter V6 & 4WD. My wife has a 4runner with a V6 & 2WD. Both have towing packages & I'm sure can handle this boat. I'm leaning towards the blazer, any suggestions from the experienced ones out there?

Both will be fine. 4WD can be a big benefit if you use a steep wet ramp.

My blazer is loaded, but I'm not sure if it has a locking rear differential. Will that be important to know?

Not if you have 4WD.

No, and rig is probably under 3000# and you're rated at least for 5500# with the 4.3l w/towing packake.

Use the 4Runner. It has a longer wheelbase.
