I bought used trailer because my other one rusted out.
It seems to be heavy duty with a box steel frame.

What rating is the axle? Its 2" x 3" and says 681 / 2HD . Google search gives different ratings for that size

After buying it I realized its narrower than my old trailer. From inside fender to fender its 65" and my boat at the stern is 85". So it will need to ride over the fender or I'm screwed. I'm bringing boat and trailer to the water to swap them over tomorrow. I'm hoping it will work out but if the boat is sitting low and hits the fenders will sliding the ubolt/roller setups closer together "squeeze" the hull/ boat up higher.

I included a picture of my boat to show the depth of the V hull if it helps.

There should be a manufacturer sticker on the trailer with their name, load capacity, etc. What does that say by chance?

Theres no tag. The only numbers anywhere on the trailer is the axle numbers listed. Its a shoreline trailer

The gross weight of the trailer is the rating of the axle. If its 5 lug its probably 3500, then add 350 for the hitch (3850), then subtract the weight of the trailer. The 2x3 channel could also be 6000 lb but would then have at least 6 lug wheel

Moving the roller assemblies together will pinch the boat up a bit, but the cross members are angled downward toward the center of the trailer.
So that may cancel out any benefit.
Also, looks like you will need to get the hull raised up quite a bit.
Don't think you will get it raised that far.

Maybe enough to clear the tires, but not the fenders.

Maybe remove the fenders before you try loading it, may need to reconfigure fenders or mounts later.

Also, from personal experience, the closer you have those roller assemblies, the harder it can be to get the boat loaded.
May need to have something fabricated (new cross members or riser block ) to mount the rollers to.

It looks a lot like my 2500 lb rated Loadrite trailer. single axle, 16 rollers. so, you might be close on the weight capacity.
