I have been using Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote
Back in the late 1950's when I obtained my first boat, I painted it with Interlux paint and having purchased it used from a guy who sold paint, that was his choice. Seems they have survived the test of time.....mark of a quality product.

You will want to use multi-season, ablative-type antifouling paint. There are a few to choose from. Recommendations are fine, however, you need to observe the results and may need to change brands to find the one that works best.

Here on the Jersey shore, I have gone to West Marine PCA Gold. So far it is the best. The anti-slime ingredient seems to help a lot.

I used Micron CSC, and the other two West Marine brands: CPP and Bottom Shield, with less success.

Of course, using the boat a lot helps the paint function better, as does brushing it down every once in a while.
