Going into third season, after using "Interlux ultra #3669" for first season. Second season just touched up areas that looked scruffed.
Bottom Paint still looks good, thinking I just need to touch up again or should I apply a whole new coat?
is there a rule of thumb for bottom paint, how many coats before major resand is in order?
Thanks!

hhhmmmmm not sure. I use Micron Extra and sand it down with a high grit every 2 or 3 yrs just to get the excess off. Depends how its holding up. For $160 a gallon it better hold up!!! The paint is multiseasonal. I'd be interested to see what some of the guys say.....

Sounds like time for an entire coat. The antifouling qualities lessen over time.I assume the paint you are using is a multiseason coating..??The way it looks has nothing to do with the antifouling qualities.Charlie
