I'm looking at a couple of boats for possible purchase. This one appears to be an 18' Boston Whaler Outrage, but apparently its not. It has none of the usual BW trim and no BW markings anywhere. It also has a 20" transom, which the 18' Whalers never had. I spoke to Boston Whaler customer service a couple of times today and they don't know what it is - they are not aware of any copycat boats for the 18' Outrage.

The seller claims its a "Seasport." The only boat brand that I can find with that name are built on the west coast and are of the Alaskan pilot house type. The HIN on the boat is SSBAA1051586, which I can find no information on.

Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Thanks for the info - I tried to use the USCG MIC site, but it didn't seem to be working.

yep Mark Twain is still making the same general shape hull for several of their boats.

The only one I've been in was also a 18ft but it was a runabout with a I/O, same shape hull. Rode pretty well actually.
