Boston yet again has connections with terrorist attacks. The 911 planes were hijacked here, One of the largest Saudi funded Mosques is being built here and the leader has said all sorts of outrageous things. Lot's of Bin ladens lived around here and own property. Now we find out the mother of one of the London terrorits lives here (Dorchester is a Boston neighborhood).

We have a huge LNG facility right in the middle of the city and 2 nuclear plants within 50 miles. The Big Dig carries tens of thousands during rush hour right under the harbor. It turns out one well placed explosion (well publicised mind you) could completely flood the tunnel and the main subway line (which is literally on top of the big dig), and, becuase of the way the subway runs and the topography, it would flood all of downtown Boston!

The Emergency Broadcast Network breaks in on cable every other night to "test the system." I live maybe 10 - 15 miles from the Pilgrim Nuclear plant in Plymouth (where the Pilgrim landed) and less than 20mi from downtown Boston.

Terrorist suspect's Dot mom stunned: Mayor offers family police protection
By Laura Crimaldi
Monday, July 18, 2005 - Updated: 07:33 AM EST

The Dorchester mother of suspected London suicide bomber Germaine Lindsay called Scotland Yard from her husband's hurricane-ravaged home in Grenada in a desperate search for answers, a relative told the Herald.

She just wants to know what's going on,'' said Maryam McLeod Ismaiyl's brother-in-law, a Dorchester resident who asked his name not be used for this report. She hasn't had communication with her kid in two years.''

Meanwhile, Mayor Thomas Menino yesterday asked Police Commissioner Kathleen O'Toole to provide police protection to Lindsay's family, if they request it. As of last night, the family had not made the request, a mayor's spokeswoman said.

(Menino) said do whatever the family needs or what she thinks the family might need in case someone'' tries to hurt them, the spokeswoman said.

The Jamaican-born Lindsay, is believed to have detonated one of four bombs that killed 55 people in London July 7.

Hunkered down in the village of La Mode outside of St. George in Grenada, McLeod Ismaiyl was playing with her husband's nephews at a waterfall when she got the devastating news that her 19-year-old son was involved in the London carnage. The home, which belongs to her husband's family, lost part of its roof and suffered water damage when Hurricane Emily struck last week. Law enforcement officials visited her Ballou Avenue apartment Friday night, her brother-in-law said.

A devout Muslim who wears a hijab, a traditional religious headdress, McLeod Ismaiyl is known by family and friends to refuse to shake hands or ride in a car with men other than her husband.

Her father, Austin McLeod, a devout Methodist who lives in Dorchester, said he tried to reach McLeod Ismaiyl yesterday.

We want all the information. He had a young wife and kids. I don't know why he'd go and give it all up,'' said McLeod, who wants proof the grandson he met once as a young boy took part in the London attacks.

The British press has reported Lindsay's wife, Samantha Lewthwaite, 22, will give birth to the couple's second child soon.

In an interview with Radio Jamaica, Lindsay's father, Nigel, 45, of Jamaica said he last saw his son when he was 11. The suspected terrorist had lived in the United Kingdom since he was 5 months old, but he and his father started talking more frequently by phone in the wake of Hurricane Ivan. That communication broke off two months ago.

(I) think he was quiet (and) calm (and) has his head screwed on. . . . This was quite a surprise to me,'' his father said
