Boost Sensor

I own a Volvo Penta D4-225A-B Recently we experienced loss of full throttle. The engine fired and ran fine and full throttle would resume but it took about a minute or so. I understand that it is a common issue on this engine and may be due to a bad boost sensor. Does anyone know where this sensor is located and the part number? I have tried to locate it online but cannot find any corresponding information.

Best regards,
Imspuds

Re: Boost Sensor

The part number I can't help you with. But the boost sensor is usually in the intake manifold. You may also have a intake air temperature sensor as well so it could get confusing. A manual would be the best thing to figure out where things are at.
