Interesting. Was always taught to leave the blower on for at least 2 minutes prior to start-up. They say 4. Better safe than sorry. When I worked at a Marina, pumping gas, I experienced a couple of those, "Boom, up she went" scenerios when people refused to run their bilge blowers. It is never fun putting out a fire on a gas dock.<br /><br />PLEASE, run your blower several minutes before turning your key! It could save your life and the life of the guy who just pumped your gas!
