one mile from my house. Our little 15,000 person town has usually around 85,000 visitors for a long weekend. Thankfully we live in a non linear roadway to there so we don't see the traffic if we stay home (and stock up on everything by tuesday). I took the old highway home from the airport today.

we have one boy and his GF camping there, the other boy going in between work, and a couple other of our 'kids' there as well. My wife has been running them ice and water and snacks.

News helicopters are the biggest annoyance at this point.

I wouldn't mid seeing the alabama shakes.

Man, I'm old. I only recognize two names, and that's because they're as old as me. Billy Joel and Robert Plant.

Bonaroo oscillates a little bit - one year they'll have only a few big names, and then the next there'll be a ton of them. Though, I'm with you Ray ... the newer the band, the less likely I am to know 'em.

Though I've learned since moving to Nashville to never underestimate the "not-a-name-yet" bands. Some of them are better than the gangs who've got a label going.

Today at Bonaroo it's gonna' be HOT

The only one I know that I can add to the other 3 names is Tears for Fears..... "Shout, shout, let it all out...." Yep, we're old. And seeing all those cars, no thanks......

If you haven't tuned into Alabama Shakes, do so. Really good stuff. Buffett was there a few years ago.

Mom is on a supply run and to pick up one kid so he can go to work. Good chance the others will visit for a while to nap and hit the pool for a bit. And of course have some dad food instead of jerky (I make it) and granola bars.

our 'tough' boy who's too cool for anything after a shower and a snack. He didn't realize what the 'roo was going to do to them.
