Bombardier / Ski-doo GTS with missing starting system / electronic key

My friend just picked up a used Ski-doo that someone stole the starting / key system from the left handle. The previous owner said that it was an electronic key that went in there and it was expensive to replace. Is there a way to bypass that system or does anyone know where we can get another one?

if just the dess key and start button are missing it isn't too bad to fix and no you can't bypass it ,check with parts@jetkingparts.com for used parts but you need to know if the main computer was taken if it was that part can be expensive,, also once you get a key and a reader etc it must be programmed by a dealer at about 50 bucks for that
