Bogs down when Accelerating.

New tanks of gas and only 30 minutes into the ride with my mid 90's 90hp. We started out running fine. accelerating and slowing down fine. Then next time we started to accelerate from an idle the engine started to bog down then died. I could get it to plane out by bumping the choke till it got to speed than it would run good. Whats up with that???

Sounds like you're starving for gas.
1. Make sure vent(s) for the gas tank is open and not clogged.
2. Does the primer bulb get hard after 4 or 5 squeezes?
3. Check the fuel pump diaphragm.
4. If you're using portable fuel tanks with quick connectors, make sure that the connectors are working properly, and the fuel pick up inside the tank is not out of position to pick up fuel.
