bogging down

I recently bought a 1989 Sunbird boat with a 48 slp johnson motor. Had the carbs worked on new fule lines and a water fule separator put on.It bogs down when I go full throttle.I changed the plugs yesterday,and it ran a little better but still won't go full speed.Any suggestions?

Check your compression and then the spark. Spark should jump a 7/16" open air gap on a spark tester.
