Boating the Upper Chesapeake

Happy new year to all upper Chesapeake boaters!
I see the original "Boating the Upper Chesapeake" thread was locked. There was a good following for that thread and an active community of users. Does anyone know why it was locked?

Not sure why that thread was locked. I guess this will be the new thread. Let the other one die but we can look back for a reference if needed.
