Boating the South West Coast of Newfoundland

I was wondering if anyone in the forum has sailed, or is planning to, the SW coast of Newfoundland, up in Atlantic Canada?

I've seen some advertising of the area and I got to say it looks very interesting. It has many bays, and a few towns along the way. Port Aux Basques is the major center, but down the coast there seems to be two towns that interest me more. One is Burnt Islands, that has its own harbor authority, with lots of wharfs away from the open Atlantic, lots of navigation aids to help you along and of course a good 'general store' to stock the cupboards. Also Rose Blanche has an old stone granite lighthouse built back in the 1800s that recently became an active aid to navigation again. These two towns it seems have lots of local fisherman that know the area well, and the culture and dialect reflects its old English decent.

Any thoughts from anyone? I might try to post some pictures too if I can find them.

I'm on the opposite Coast, but watched the Movie Ann of green Gables that was filmed on Prince Edward Island. I have to say you East Coaster's have some beautiful Coastline.

Sad thing is you probably not have much responses from anyone on this forum. But then having hardly anyone know or boat there keeps it looking beautiful.
