My transom tie downs are needing replaced soon.
A good stainless set is around $35-$40.

I've been looking at the BoatBuckle system, but the stainless versions cost almost $80.

The standard version is a little cheaper, however I think the stainless would be a better choice for the waters I visit.

Anyone use the BoatBuckles? Are they worth it?

Thanks,

H.

Re: BoatBuckle... Pros... Cons?

I have the SS buckles on my trailer. I bought them after deciding that messing with loose straps was a real pain in the arse. I bought the standard ones at first, but after thinking about it, the extra $20 I paid for the SS over the regular buckles was well worth it. Now I just grab the strap and pull- two clicks of the handle and Waa-Laa, the boat is strapped. I've never had it so good.

If you can mount them on the trailer and they work, by all means buy them. A GREAT addition to any trailer.

UFM82
