boat weight

Have been looking at 26' SleekCraft ambassadors. The NOAA pages list the weight for these boats, up to 1981 at 6,500 lbs. But the 23' Executives are listed at 3,200 bls. I just can't see the Ambassadors being that heavy. Then with model year 1983, the Ambassadors drop to 3,500 lbs.<br /><br />Is there another weight information source out there somewhere?<br /><br />thanks<br /><br />srs

All of the NADA pages list the weights mentioned above as "net weight"; I haven't looked up the definition but my guess is that is without fuel, etc.<br /><br />srs
