Boat Value

A Co-worker has an older Eldocraft aluminum boat. Its a 1979 model and looks to be about a 15x48 with a 50hp johnson side console. It looks to be in pretty good shape, I just have to check on motor (compression, etc). My question is how much would something like this be worth. It is a side console, set up like a bass boat. I can't find any info on this brand, so if anyone can give assistance on value, I would appreciate it.

Ayuh,.... A 1979,.... 'tween $50., 'n $3500. dependin' on condition, location, 'n time of year, Spring bein' peak price time of year, late Fall the cheapest,....

A 15 x 48 with a 50hp sounds like it maybe over powered. Check to see if there is a manufactures tag, it should give you max HP.

Pictures can also help determine a value. But they can also be deceiving. Used boats are all about condition and owner care. There have many nice looking aluminum hulls here that hide corrosion, cracks, rotten wood ........
