Location has something to do with it ... where are you located? Fresh or salt water? Age of the Merc?

2 years ago I picked up a 19 footer ... Seamaster dc with a Johnson 115 and a 7.5 evinrude kicker, depth finder and 12/24v MinnKota. It was valued around $8500, I paid $5300. It was in decent shape, floor solid. First 8 years it saw salt water, after that only fresh. Does that help?
