Boat Value

Ok guys, I have a boat value question. I know where there is a 1992 DuraCraft boat for sale. The boat has been in the water less than 5 times. An older man has it and isn't wanting to come off the price of it any. It is an all welded 1542 semi-v that is made out of .100 aluminum. It comes with a galvanized trailer. The trailer has a little rust on it and needs new tires and rewired. Besides being a little sun faded, the boat is like new. No scratches or dents. Its just been setting outside. What does everyone think it is worth? It is just a plain boat with no modifications.

Re: Boat Value

"Value" changes with season and location.

It is worth what he finally sells it for.

Re: Boat Value

He is asking 1600 for the boat and trailer. That is what he paid for it back in 1992. He showed me the receipt. He said since it hasn't been in the water 5 times, he wants what he paid for it.

Re: Boat Value

Yea right, as soon as he drove it off the lot it lost value.

Does it have an engine? HP?

Look in the paper and see what they are going for locally.

Even though it's barley used it's 9 years old.

Agreed except it's 18 years old!
