I just purchased an 18' Grady White wooden speedboat with a 75 hp outboard. I'm wondering if my 4 cylinder S10 truck can pull it, can anyone estimate what the boat and trailer might weigh?

Re: Boat/Trailer Weight Estimate

You should be around 3200 lbs +/- boat trailer rigging etc. If you check the NADA web site and look up your boat it will (usually) list the dry weight. Depending on the year of your motor most v-4's go about 375-400 lbs.

Depending on the terrain and how fast/far you need to go and the condition of the launch ramp you should be okay.

Trailer brakes! Make sure you have them and they work!

Bob
