My trailer for my Carolina Skiff has a homemade bow stop. It is typical of Jon boat ones with a flat carpet covered board that is about 12"x16". The bow rests up against this. This winch is mounted below this with no roller. I want to change this as the current stop is pressing against the rub rail of my Skiff and messing it up. Anyone have a better idea for a flat bottom boat I can use? I am looking for something I guess the bow eye could maybe go up to with a roller and winch mounting. I have looked around and so far came up empty. Thanks.
