Hi,

This is Part 2 of a message I posted last week. I took the advice I got from people from that message and tok my boat out today for testing. I found the following:

The boat goes well, but when I am driving and I let go of the steering wheel it will turn left automaticaaly causing a full U-turn or 180 degree rotation in about 5 seconds. It seems to do this more over 2500 RPSs.
I have tried to adjust trim tab anode and trim tab plates and no luck. Anyone have any other ideas? I would like to get this corrected. Any advice greatly helps

Thanks

Hey MCU, reading your last post and now this one (I'm just asking) could you have rotated your trim tab in the wrong direction. It is made to force the motor to go in the same direction the boat is pulling toward?? Some times boaters think it is like a fin to turn the boat but it is made to turn the motor. Did this problem exist before you installed an impeller? If all else fails you may need a new steering system ( about $150), that prevents feedback to the driver. More info on when the problem showed up may help.

Is this your first experience with a boat?

dcsjr could well be right here! Also, I have heard that trimming the drive out can reduce the 'steer factor'?

What are the drives btw? and are they single or dual prop?
