I was out this past weekend and then throttling to go on plane, the engine would not go past 3300 RPMs for about 15 minutes. Then, magically, it went to about 4500 RPMs. I was cruising around for about 20 minutes at full speed, then stopped. About 2 hours later when returning home, I experienced the same problem - boat was stuck at 3300 RPMs for about 15 minutes, then it went to 4500 and operated normally. This is the first time I experienced it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
