I have a 18 foot Crestliner, on a Shorelander trailer. Where should I place the strap to hold this boat on the trailer best? Or should I have more than one strap?

Thanks

Re: Boat Strap

Should be two brackets at the rear corners of the trailer pointing up for the bellie strap. If not install them there and then hook up your strap.

Re: Boat Strap

The strap you describe sounds more the the straps that go from one side of the trailer, over the back end of boat and to other side of trailer. Is that the type? If so, they are more geared toward smaller jon boats. Like Wave Hopper said, you should use two tie down on transom.

Re: Boat Strap

There are two heavy duty eyelet type chrome fasteners on the rear transom. One on each side of the engine. Am I supposed to run a strap from each of these to the trailer?
