Boat registration renewal $$$$$????

I'm curious as to how much we all pay to register our boats in different states or countries.<br /><br />In Wisconsin it is based on the length of your boat, and you renew for a 3 year period. The prices are as follows:

• <br />
• Up to 16' in length = $16.50 <br />
• 16' to 26' = $24.00 <br />
• 26' to 40' = $45.00 <br />
• and 40'+ =$75.00 <br />
• Non-motorized sailboats are $15.00 <br />

<br />So here in Wisconsin it cost most of us either $5.50 or $8.00 per year. What kind of fees are you paying?<br /> <br />BTW- Boats over 16' are titled (one time fee), motors are not. Small trailers,under 3000# are not licensed in WI, Trailers up to 4500# are $24.25, up to 6000# are $38.75 per year. Cars, vans, pickups, $45-66.50 per year.

$33.00 per year for my 21' openfisherman. trailer $19.85 per year.<br />$21.60 per year for my 15'6" flats boat. trailer $17.10 per year<br />Half ton truck $48.10 per year.<br />Utility trailer $17.10 per year.<br /><br />And all due at the same time. $$$Ca-Ching$$$ OUCH!

Here in Calipornia we pay $10.00 for two years boat or jet ski reg. You might get stuck with paying personal property tax if your boat is a large one. We now have a permante trailer license plate which cost me, as I recall, $10.00 for 5 years. The boating lobby in Calif. has a juice card as big as an 18 wheeler.
