boat motor

hi all! i have a 1965 starcraft aluminum v-hull. i bought it used from a man who could not use it anymore due to age. the motor is a 7.5hp scott at water. i am having trouble getting information on this motor for maintenance reasons. on the motor is an address. i wrote a letter, and sent it to that address, and got my leteer back! can anyone help me on this! i am getting it repared, but it is gonna cost me big bucks!
