boat lists to the left noticable

I have just bought a 91 searay the skagg is bent looking from behind to the left about a 1/2 inch would this make the boat list to the left.or just turn?rick

Wouldn't hurt to give us the details.size,hp,speed.
There is a natural tendency for a boat to lean to port from prop torque,
one reason for steering on the starboard side.A deep V will sometimes want to run on the one side of the v in certain cercumstances.
Other causes could be water absorbed in the hull or flotation foam,Some sort of distortion in the bottom,Possibly a hook or hollow spot near the transom.

You say "lists" which to me means that it looks like it's leaning to the left even at rest?

Or; does it lean only when under way?

Another reason for listing to one side is unequal weight distribution. For example, side mount fuel tanks and one is empty, cooler full of beer and ice on one side.......u get the idea
