Hey Guys
I have a trailer that has bunks and rollers and it all needs to be replaced.I have found a composite bunk board which I plan on using. My question is should I replace the rollers or just add a few more bunk boards. The boat is 22ft and weights about 3800lbs.I have never launched the boat as I purchased it late last year.It is a large boat and want to launch it as easy as possible.Any advice is helpful,Thanks

Re: Boat launch

I would think that just bunks would be fine if you plan on loading with a float on, float off method.

Re: Boat launch

If the Launches You'll be using are Deep Water launches,
More Bunks are Better......
But, If the Launches You'll be using are Closer to Level,
Rollers are the Only Way to Go.....

You Don't want to Power On...
It Digs Scour Holes in the launch.....

Thanks for the info,The bunk boards i want to use are made of polyethelene and look pretty good, Has anyone ever used this type and are they worth the expense.
