Re: boat launch....

It's a sad sad day when all of these jerks standing around and not one person offering to help. Instead let's videotape it and get it on you tube. Obviously the people didn't know what they were doing but it's no excuse to stand there and not offer to help.

I see it more and more these days. I don't want to imagine what the world will be like in another 20 years

Re: boat launch....

All it would have taken would be one guy on dry land to toss down a rope or chain hooked to his hitch and a little bit of a tug to get him out of the hole. Had it done to myself once when I was pulling a boat on a ramp that had algae growth at the waterline - right where my rear tires ended up. An older gentleman waiting for the ramp offered to help and had me out in a jiffy. He offered the anchor line from his boat, looped it around his hitch and my front bumper and got me over the hump. I then stuck around long enough to help him launch his boat as his wife wasn't comfortable taking the boat or backing their car. Good karma breeds more good karma...

THis is why I bought a 4X4 for my tow vehicle.

Though I agree... Couldn;t someone sit on the back or somethign to at least give him some more traction?
