Boat hoist maneuvering

Just bought a used vertical hoist by Shore Station. What techniques and how do I pull into and out of the hoist with my Sea Ray 18.5 footer?

Sunset,<br /><br />It's no different than driving onto a trailer.<br /><br />Always keep the bow into the wind and/or current. Come in at an angle and use the engine to bring the stern around.
