Hi all,

Been fishing saltwater for the last 30 years and for the last 5 years been stuck here in IL.. Looking for a nice multi-Species boat that I can fish bass, Walleye and other nice sporting fish. I need to seat 4 in boat safely and want to range from 17ft-20ft with pedistal seating front and rear.

I have only owned hewes flats boats so a little help on boat styles would be appreciated. I have narrowed it down to the following:

2000 Triton 189DCF 18' 9" has 9 horse kicker on it as well... and the 288 Nitro sport both are near the same price.. the Triton is fully decked out.. 288 has standard features. Anyone with any advice or suggestions on boat styles, please post.

I have a Sea Nymph 16' aluminum deep V that fits the bill nicely. Small lakes or Lake Mich if the wind doesn't kick up to bad.
