Boat float for marina versus armoured hull

We have a boat in Mission Bay in San Diego, California and are looking for alternatives to bottom paint and monthly cleaning.

On one of the boats in another marina I saw a big inflatable type of float that was keeping the entire boat out of the water. This looks like our best bet since we could also do repairs or install thru-hull fittings. I'm assuming this is an alternative to the bottomliner, armouredhull and similar alternatives. Do you guys know what this aparatus is called and how much it might cost?

I'm looking comparing the cost of a haul-out, bottom paint, armoured hull or bottom liner, or this device to keep the hull clean and free of debris.

They are called boat lift floats..
Once a month to have your hull cleaned seems a bit much to me in our area anyway.
http://www.premierfloats.com/Premiermaterials/boatlift_floats.htm
I'm not recommending these people as it was just a quick GOOGLE search.. but should give you a idea of whats out there.. prices range from $8000-$30,000

Hope this helps a little

Link

yeah, inflatable boat lift. based on size, can be quite costly. much, much cheaper to simply bottom paint. good luck-
