If you don't have power trim on the unit, I'd suggest a good set of trim tabs. If you do have Power trim, you need to play with the trim settings or boat loading.

Could be as obscure as a totally wrong prop on the boat, so as much info about the boat, the drive and powerplant as you can post would be useful .

Re: boat don't run level

good excuse to buy a beer cooler :)
you may try a doel fin. you may have to find tabs
or you may need to sit on a phone book. some boats have seats that look good but the only way I can comfortably drive them is to sit on the seat back. otherwise my vision is limited to things more than 50 or 60 ft in front. if you put the bow to low it will steer funny and burn more gas. bow steer can be very dangerous.
good luck and keep us posted

luisito,

I am Thomas and I work for Bennett Marine in the Client Services department.

This action is typical of planeing type hulls of this vintage and one of the main reasons Charles Bennett invented remotely adjustable trim tabs in the first place! A set of trim tabs would definitely cure your bow rise issues and improve many other areas of your vessel's running attitude and broaden its operating range. Some examples are Increased Performance (reduced pounding, list correction, eliminate porpoising, offset prop torque), Increased Efficiency (reduce fuel consumption & engine laboring, eliminate squatting), & Increased Safety (improve visibility, reduce wake, reduce hull stress). As you can see they help in many different areas, so the only real question is which trim tab set will best fit your needs and mounting limitations. If you would like some help deciding which trim tab set will work best, please feel free to contact me at trimtabs@earthlink.net!

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
MJ Thomas
Bennett Marine, Inc.
Client Services
www.bennetttrimtabs.com
