Boat Controls?

Ok I have the quicksilver 3000 control and the splines on the gear snapped off. I can not find that gear anywhere. So I want to replace the whole control unit. (behind the panel part) unless anyone knows where I can get part number 822202-c. I want it to find one that is compatable with the quicksilver 3000 throttle/ shifter and mercruser cables. Hopefully someone else has gone down this road and has some advise.

I just bought a replacement for a 3000 based upon the 2000 design as I didn't like the way the 3000 was setup. Course, replacing with a box that mounts on the panel, rather than through the panel may be an issue with you.

The control box comes with a pre-wired electrical cable (you specify the length you need when you select the one you want, and the control cables should fit right in. Mine was a drop in replacement for a 2002 engine setup. If you want a 3000 replacement, iboats can probably fix you up. Control with cables will be around $250 if you have T&T and electric starting which you probably do as you said "Mercruiser Cables".
