I have a 1970 larson with a 1985 force 50 hp. The boat control will engage the throttle but is not engaging the shift linkage whatsoever. Do new boat controls come with instructions? I know the boat control says "Pull neutral" on it, not sure what that means. The engine will rev but like I said the cable doesnt even become engaged that goes to the shift linkage. Any tips/ideas are appreciated.
