boat and trailer weight

Just a rough guess how much my boat and trailer weigh. Its a 1997 lowe 160 bass boat. 16ft with a 40 hp johnson 2 stroke with trailer. I am guessing 1500-2000 lbs. Whats everyone thoughts?

I had a 16.75 ft northwood alum. boat, heavy wood floor and stringers, 40hp merc w/ remote steering and glavinized trailer, and it weighed about 1300

Yea I think you are bang on with that range, probably closer to 2000 pounds with the trailer.

My 16 with a 60HP 4 stroke is 2400lbs.
