A tilt flatbed and a winch and you can weld the boat down and weld the wheels but its still gonna be gone! Not sure where you live but lots of farmers have a big trailer to fit the bill. But as has been stated just make yours a little more secure than your neighbors and yours will be safe.

Farmers round here stealing boats? Nah definitely not here. They are the type that will shoot thieves (no kidding), not do the thieving themselves lol.

well i guess i am sorry i did read your post but i dont know where you live and who your neighbors are and aprrently they are not nice people. around me i just have to worry about one jerk neighbor calling the city because my boat can only sit in the drive way for 5 days then it must be moved for 2 days. good luck.

I apologize sw33tthooth, I was not particularly having a nice day, that day of that comment. I will remove that portion of my comment there. Well neighbors round here mind there own, most of them. Now not every where you go in my area will neighbors do that, I have had neighbors like yours. I lived in a trailer park that was very nice and well kept, my next door neighbor wouldn't, actually on either side of me wouldn't let anyone get away with anything, no matter how small. Including parking a boat I had permission to park in my parking area, they came over and gave me hell about it.

I'd like to add a bit more to this, My new boat is worth around $1000 once all the bureaucratical crap is done. But it is worth more to me than a thousand dollars since I put blood and sweat into it. So with that said I would like a dedicated building for it, criminals can't steal what they can't see. Now I know they can always break in but that's what a visible and inaccessible camera are for and a few hidden ones for extra piece of mind. Possibly even a large dog!

The post originator mentioned that he had to park it on the street, so I am assuming he does not have a garage. That said the thread is over a year old, so whatever he has done has either worked for him, or for the thieves.
