Boat ALWAYS leaning on trailer

every time I put my boat on the trailer, it's leaning to the left - so much, in fact, that it makes me nervous about how close it is to the fender of the trailer. I don't have a lot of weight in the boat to make it lean that way - especially since I'm on the opposite side driving it onto the trailer. Any ideas? I've had to put it back into the lake before to make sure it's not riding on the fender.

You have to adjust your bunk boards so your boat will set right on them when you load your boat.

does it rock on the trailer. if not you may have to lower the bunk on one side and reaise the bunk on the other. there are a lot of post on adjusting bunks. use the search function at the bottomof this page.

If you could post a photo it would help us to see where the boat is riding on the bunks. A picture clearly showing the bunks in relation to the bottom of the boat would be very helpful. There are spots on the hull that are optimal for the bunks to sit under. If your bunks are too far in or out, the hull could be riding to one side or the other.

If the trailer is tilted to one side or the other when loading the boat it will sit tilted even if the bunks are adjusted properly. Always back the trailer in so its level, even if you need to back in at something other than 90 degrees to the shoreline.

Also could be your tie down straps. If you have two straps, one could be tighter than the other (the low side). If you have one strap that goes over the boat, it could be pulling down on the side the cinch is on. Just a thought.
