Will be installing a Blue Sea Add a Battery 7650 and have some questions. My boat is a 98 ? 21? B/W Conquest with a 200 HP Offshore EFI Merc, it is equipped with 2 batteries and the Perko Battery Switch (2/All/1/Off).
The picture below is the present set-up.
What size wire and fuses do I need between the batteries and the ACR?
What is better to use a breaker or a fuse?
I am not quite sure of the charging amperage of the 200 Merc but I believe that it is 40 amps?
The new switch (5511E) will be replacing the Perko switch and the ACR will be easily within 2 feet from the switch.
I will run a 16guage wire fused by 10 amp fuse between the ACR and the common buss.
