Anybody fish Blue Cypress Lake? Was wonder what the lake was like for boating (depth & shallow areas) & fishing. Thanks!

It's a long way down a dirt road to get to it.. :) <br /><br />I've fished it a few times.. Nice Place... Pretty good ramp.. Lot of birds and such, and fishing ain't bad either... There's plenty of cypress trees to fish around..<br /><br />It's deep in the middle, shallow near shore... Remember, where there's cypress trees, there's cypress knees, meaning, be careful in the shallow areas near the trees because of submerged trees, stumps, and such... Best to use a trolling motor near the trees..

Much like any other lake. Sometimes real good and sometimes not so. I have a bunch of friends with a camp on the canals out there. They say that it is good most days.

Thanks a bunch! Haven't fresh water fished down here yet but my brother does. He doesn't have a boat so I told him to come up & we'd head out there.
